Foundation Focus

The Baughman Family Foundation aims to make a tangible impact on our community by focusing its charitable contributions on small, local organizations that are researched and nominated by members of the family. The goal of the foundation is twofold: to make a meaningful, measurable impact on the selected organizations and to promote and encourage members of the family to become actively involved in charitable giving.

When submitting an application, please keep a few guidelines in mind.

The focus for the Foundation should be on smaller charities/causes where the Foundation can make a direct, tangible impact and on causes that are of particular interest to family members.

The suggested size of the donations would be in the $3000 - $5000 range; in no case do we anticipate contributing more than $5000 in a single grant.

We are asking that you avoid submitting applications for organizations that are of a political or religious nature.

Do not submit a funding request for a charitable organization where you or your family gets a direct benefit.
